The in-hand summer horse show offers a vibrant blend of competitive and light-hearted events, catering to all levels of participants and spectators. Serious classes include breed and age-specific categories, where horses are judged on their conformation, movement, and presentation. Alongside these, fun classes such as 'Best Groomed', 'Fancy Dress', and 'Young Handler' create a lively atmosphere, encouraging newcomers and allowing everyone to enjoy the spirit of the show. This combination ensures a welcoming environment that celebrates both skill and camaraderie.

Classes will run consecutively so times are estimated.

Terms and Conditions for Horse Show Entry

Please read these terms and conditions carefully before submitting your entry for the horse show.

Eligibility

All entrants must be at least 18 years of age or have written consent from a parent or guardian. Horses entered must be fit, healthy, and comply with all relevant vaccination requirements as specified by the organisers. All horses and ponies entering the showground must be fully and currently vaccinated against equine influenza, tetanus and any other prevailing infectious disease. All biosecurity precautions must be observed.

Entry Fees

Entry fees must be paid in full at the time of registration. Fees are non-refundable except in the case of event cancellation by the organisers.

Safety and Conduct

Participants are required to follow all safety instructions and abide by the rules of the showground. Unsportsmanlike behaviour or failure to comply with the event regulations may result in disqualification.

No horses or ponies to enter stables, yard or other areas except arenas, warm up areas and car parks

Please take all litter home

All spectators to remain in spectating areas only during classes and not to enter arena during classes

No persons to enter stables

Toilets including disabled facilities are located at rear of stables where there is also disabled parking

NO SMOKING OR VAPING ANYWHERE ON SITE

Liability

The organisers accept no responsibility for personal injury, loss, or damage to property incurred during the event. All participants are advised to arrange their own insurance cover.

Horse Welfare

Any mistreatment of horses will result in immediate disqualification and removal from the showground. The welfare of all animals must be prioritised at all times.

All dogs to be kept on leads and all dog mess to be picked up and removed by dog owners

Changes and Cancellation

The organisers reserve the right to amend the schedule, classes, or rules at any time. In the event of cancellation, participants will be notified as soon as possible. Classes will run consecutively so times are estimated.

By submitting an entry, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to abide by these terms and conditions.
